The Tiger Trail Festival Black History celebration was started in the City of Pompano Beach in 1995, by the Blanche Ely High School Class of 1970, and has been put on annually ever since. The Street Festival includes musical acts, Kids Village, food, local vendors and more that bring the community together to celebrate Black American History. Other events now include the:

The Tiger Trail Festival goal is to create an experience that is both fun and educational, providing families with the opportunity to come together and celebrate Black American History in Pompano's wonderful diverse community. We believe that by bringing all people together, we can help build stronger communities.
