What seemed like a normal Saturday last September, began the fight for 9-year-old Braxton Weidman’s life. After Braxton, who is athletic and outgoing, wanted to stay home that evening when his siblings went to spend the night with their friends, it seemed unusual. But what followed was beyond what any parent could fathom. That night, Braxton told his parents he wanted to sleep close to them and slept in a sleeping bag on their floor. Early the next morning, around 5 am, Braxton had a seizure, prompting his parents to rush him to the hospital.
A scan revealed that Braxton had Glioblastoma, an aggressive form of brain cancer. And within 48 hours of the seizure, he had his first of two surgeries to remove a tumor at the children’s hospital in Birmingham. Three weeks later, he had a second surgery at St Jude to remove part of the right side of his brain and more of the tumor.
This diagnosis was devastating to Braxton’s family and what Braxton has gone through since is such a burden for a little child to carry. But even amid this unthinkable fight, Braxton’s light shines brightly, capturing the hearts of people across the country. There is a village of people invested in his well-being. And to help cover the endless medical expenses involved in Braxton's fight, we need to grow that village. That’s where YOU come in.

Among Braxton’s village are Kim and Bill Grill. These beautiful folks and their son’s fraternity have donated an original Orange County Chopper motorcycle (pictured below) to help raise funds for Braxton’s ongoing treatment.
One lucky donor will ride away with this amazing piece of history. The bike has all the signatures of the original crew and was featured on American Chopper. What’s extra special about this one is that Paul Teutel Sr. himself wants to personally share the history of the bike with the winner.
