The Western Maine Addiction Recovery Initiative (WMARI) holds the 6th Annual Western Maine Recovery Rally on Sunday, September 18th. In honor of recovery month, a local community member, Anna Bullard, made a custom quilt for us to raffle to raise money leading up to our rally celebration.
For WMARI, displaying and using butterflies in imagery is how we remember the lives lost to overdose. Starting the week before the rally, WMARI will place butterfly memorials in public places in Oxford County towns, such as Rumford, Norway, and Fryeburg.
The raffle drawing takes place at the rally on Sunday, September 18th, at 2:30pm. The winner will be announced at the rally and receive notification via email. All money raised from this raffle will be used to fund WMARI's important work, including treatment scholarships for Oxford County residents.
This handmade, beautiful recovery quilt was made by Anna Bullard and graciously donated to WMARI for our raffle. The quilt is two-sided, measures 48" x 58", and has a pocket for hanging. A curtain rod is included with the prize.
